This course is designed to help equip Goddard school leaders to support early childhood teachers in responding to children's dysregulated behaviors. Participants will build awareness of the “why” behind common obstacles and skill gaps faced by teachers in responding to dysregulated behaviors in the classroom and consider how they impact teacher effectiveness. Leadership strategies for developing teachers toward classroom management success will be highlighted, and associated research-based tools, resources and insights for successful implementation will be shared.
This training will meet CCDBG and annual and ongoing training requirements for licensed child care providers and employees of license-exempt child care providers participating in the Child Care Payment Assistance/Certificate Program.
