Cultivating Calm: Building Teacher Capacity for Responding to Dysregulated Behaviors

Overview

This course is designed to help equip Goddard school leaders to support early childhood teachers in responding to children's dysregulated behaviors. Participants will build awareness of the “why” behind common obstacles and skill gaps faced by teachers in responding to dysregulated behaviors in the classroom and consider how they impact teacher effectiveness. Leadership strategies for developing teachers toward classroom management success will be highlighted, and associated research-based tools, resources and insights for successful implementation will be shared.
