This training stresses the importance of providing infants and young children with sufficient physical stimulation – as opposed to focusing solely on cognitive and academic development. Key points discussed include: the importance of daily exercise time and tummy time; how smart sense mats work; and sensory stimulation tips for other ages.
This training will meet CCDBG and annual and ongoing training requirements for licensed child care providers and employees of license-exempt child care providers participating in the Child Care Payment Assistance/Certificate Program.
