Administration of Medicine

Overview

The Child Care and Development Fund health and safety requirements ofr providers receiving federal financial assistance include training inthe administration of medicine, consistent with standards for parental consent. As a professional responsible for the health and safety of the children under your care, you are responsible in being knowledgeable about the signs and symptoms of illness as well as knowing the steps of addresses illness in the child care setting. We created this course to help teachers and providers understand how illnesses manifests in young children and the steps to prevent sickness and care for children with chronic conditions.
